way easier on my back than a shoulder bag. folds up pretty small too

My dog is about 8 or 9 lbs and it works, but the seat would be too small for a bigger dog. Gets tiring after a while too.

Normal backpacks destroy my shoulders after an hour of walking around. This hip seat puts all the weight on my hips instead, which is awesome since I have lower back issues. The little safety leash attached gives me peace of mind too.

Used it for my dog first and now the cat fits on it too.

Bought two different carriers for a family hike with lots of stairs. Ended up keeping this one because the seat folds away and the waistband adjusts easily without snagging my shirt. My 8lb dog just rested her front paws on my arm the whole time.
